What is our ISO or Town Protection Class Code?
Our ISO for most of the district is rated at a 3. However, there is an area that is currently rated at a 9 (Candelas).

Do you offer Ride-Alongs?
Ride-alongs are reserved for paramedic students only. If you are a current student enrolled in a paramedic program, you can request a ride-along by contacting us at 303-424-3012.
Are there any specific regulations regarding outdoor fireplaces?
It is wise to be vigilant in following safety guidelines when using your outside fireplace as long as a burn ban is not in effect. Portable fireplaces must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, must be used a minimum of 15-feet from structures or combustible materials, must be constantly attended by an adult until the fire is extinguished, and have a means to extinguish or control the fire (hose, shovel, etc.).
Does Arvada Fire have any fire dogs?
Yes! Molly lives at Arvada Fire Station 2. She is not a Dalmatian but rather a mixed breed dog who is black and white in color.
We also have a new friend at Station 1. His name is Doug. Both Molly and Doug are very sweet and welcome visitors!
How far away should you be when parking near a fire hydrant?
You need to have a 15-foot distance between your vehicle and the fire hydrant. In the event of a fire, our personnel need adequate room to operate the fire hydrant and connect hose lines.
How can I make a monetary donation?
Donations can be accepted through the nonprofit Friends of Arvada Fire. This 501c3 is set up to support the mission of the Arvada Fire Protection District.
