Tinley Park offers several parking options to commuters at the 80th Avenue and Oak Park Avenue train stations.
Permit parking costs $90 per quarter and is available at the north and south lots of the Oak Park Avenue train station, as well as at the Subway parking lot at 17217 S. Oak Park Avenue and the Tinley Park United Methodist Church at 6875 W. 173rd Place. For more information on permit parking, please call Village Hall at (708) 444-5000. See the commuter parking map for more details on permit parking locations.
Tinley Park Village Hall has temporarily closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Minimal staff is on-hand to handle day-to-day operations. Commuters who use permit parking are encouraged to use USPS or the drop box at Village Hall to make payments while Village Hall is closed. The drop box is attached to the building (in the brick) to the left of the main doors if you are facing the doors. Please include a copy of the Permit Parking Application with your payment, and the Village will mail the placard back to you, along with a receipt.

Daily pay also is an option along Hickory Street near the Oak Park Avenue train station, and at all lots at the 80th Avenue train station. Commuters can buy a sheet of 10 tokens for $15 at Tinley Park Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave., and at the Tinley Park Police Department, 7850 W. 183rd St. Village Hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays. The Tinley Park Police Department is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
Tokens are used just like cash and are inserted into the numbered slot corresponding to a parking space in the payment boxes. The token sheets are perforated to provide for easy removal from the sheet. Commuters who choose not to use a token still can deposit $1.50 in cash in the box. Tokens never expire, so commuters are welcome to buy multiple sheets at a time because they will never become obsolete. Please note there is no permit parking at the 80th Avenue train station.
Commuters who need to purchase tokens while Village Hall is closed can buy a sheet of 10 tokens for $15. Just fill out the Commuter Parking Token Purchase Form and send it, along with cash, check or money order, to Village Hall. The Village will mail the tokens to the address provided a few days after receiving payment. Commuters can also drop off the form in the mail slot on the south end of Village Hall.
